Our operating partner Onepark just won the tender with Avinor, a contract worth NOK 850 millions, for managing the parking facilities at 28 airports.
The integration with Autopay equals a world-class parking experience, for both staff and travelers. You’re welcome.
CEO and our good friend in Onepark, Leif Nymoen, is quite satisfied with the outcome.
– Avinor is already our greatest customer, and we have a very good collaboration. Now we can use all that experience to make the parking offers even better at all these 28 airports, he says.
We couldn’t agree more.
A good parking experience is important for Avinor, as this is the start of the journey for many, says commercial manager for Landside in Avinor, Amy Løken-Erichsen.
– It’s equally important to have a partner who focuses on good customer experiences and sustainability. We believe that the new measures will raise the quality of the parking offer, concludes Løken-Erichsen.
So how does Autopay work in airports, you might ask.
Autopay Free Flow system is a future-proof, seamless parking experience, based on modern Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology (ANPR).
Free Flow handles large scale car parks and easily integrates with the airport system for employee parking.
It comes with pre-booking integration and regulates kiss and fly zones. An AI-driven dynamic price engine for booking and drive-up and integrated EV-charging are only a few of the features.
Autopay and Onepark already operate the parking at Oslo Airport Gardermoen, and we’re on our second five-year-contract.
The new contract is valid for five years, and the agreement means that the parking at the airports in Bodø, Tromsø, Kristiansand, Ålesund, Harstad-Narvik, Kristiansund, Alta, Kirkenes, Bardufoss, Hammerfest, Brønnøysund, Florø, Molde, Lakselv, Vadsø, Stokmarknes, Mosjøen, Sandnessjøen, Sogndal, Ørsta-Volda, Leknes, Svolvær, Førde, Mo i Rana, Røros, Rørvik, Sandane and Namsos – will all have Autopay in the near future.
Asecs is located in Jönköping in central Sweden and is owned by Alecta, a long time owner dating back to the opening in 1987.
It’s been several years since Autopay and operating partner Onepark won the tender ahead of the competition, and replaced barriers with free flow ANPR technology.
